The Buffalo Bayou Regatta (March 13th) was a record breaker with about 400 boats participating. Southwest Paddlesports put 74 of the participants into boats for the race - many of them first-timers!
The video on the right was filmed by one of the regatta participants to give people a feel for the event. Press play to watch.
If you ever thought about paddling Buffalo Bayou, consider joining the Buffalo Bayou Regatta next year - March 2011.
The Buffalo Bayou Regatta is a 15 mile race (all levels) from just outside 610 on the west side to downtown. It's a great perspective on the town. You can learn more about the Buffalo Bayou Regatta here.
Spring Creek Greenway Trips
